Even though most men in the celebrity eye are at least a little bit shy about going through with plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery procedures, Barry Manilow certainly isn’t one of them.
One of the most gifted and truly talented musical artists in the last 50 years, it’s hard not to get sucked into almost all of the music that Barry Manilow has created in the last 20 or 30 years – but it’s just as difficult to ignore all of the cosmetic surgery that he has pretty obviously had performed in just the last few years.
Most people say that Barry Manilow plastic surgery procedures began being performed on him way back in 1995 when he was looking for a bit of a facelift, something that would breeze some new life into his look so that he could connect with a new generation of fans.
Unsurprisingly, given the technology and experience that most plastic surgeons had in 1995, the facelift wasn’t exactly picture-perfect – and apparently Barry has been trying to re-do most of that work to try and make it look more natural, only pushing things further and further in the opposite direction almost every single time.
Another facelift, another facelift, and another facelift!
According to some insiders that are apparently quite close to Barry, he’s had at least three different facelifts and numerous other plastic surgery procedures performed to try and help him even out his skin tone, eliminate all wrinkles, and destroyed laugh lines just as best as he could.
He’s also jump headfirst into the world of Botox injections, and supposedly, that’s one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures that he takes advantage of on a regular basis. The first injection happened in 2006, and he’s had regular injections of Botox and other steroids on an almost annual basis ever since.
His face doesn’t look like it’s changing all that much in the last 10 years or so, but that’s not because there aren’t any Barry Manilow plastic surgery procedures being performed – but precisely because there are so many “micro surgeries” being performed all the time that things seem frozen right where they were.
Potential nose job and chin job candidate?
Though these rumors are unconfirmed and (at least as of yet, unsubstantiated), all one has to do is look at pictures of Barry from 10 or even 15 years ago that focus on his chin and nose and then look at the pictures today that focus on the same areas and you’ll instantly see what’s so many others already have.
The chin is much more defined today than it used to be, and his nose no longer has that slight downturn at the end of it any longer. It has a much more upward pointing angle (that a lot of cosmetic surgeons have been practicing for years and years now), and while it gives a bit of a dignified look to his face today it’s definitely not the same nose that he was born with.
