She was born to Zelma Priscilla and Floyd Richard Bullock on November 26, 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee, USA as Anna Mae Bullock. She attended and graduated from Sumner High School in 1958. She has been married to Erwin Bach since 2013. She was previously married to Ike Turner from 1962 until 1978.
