Baby. Born Samantha Ruth Prabhu on April 28, 1987 in Chennai, India, to parents Ninette and Joseph Prabhu, she has two older brothers named Jonathan and David. She did her schooling from Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School and completed a degree in commerce at Stella Maris College, Chennai. Akkineni made her acting debut in 2010 with Gautham Menon’s critically acclaimed Telugu romance film Ye Maaya Chesave. She got married to actor Naga Chaitanya Akkineni on October 7, 2017.
