Sharon was born March 10, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Young Stone won Miss Crawford County, and was also a candidate for Miss Pennsylvania. She started her professional career as a model but became worldwide famous through her role of Catherine Tramell in erotic thriller Basic Instinct. Her other notable movies include Casino, If These Walls Could Talk 2, Sliver, and Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction.

Personal Life: In 1984, Stone met television producer Michael Greenburg on the set of “The Vegas Strip War,” a TV movie he produced and Stone starred in. They married that same year. Greenberg also produced the 1986 movie, “Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold,” which Stone appeared in. They separated in 1989 and divorced in 1990.
