Short Bio
Kim So-Jung, or as she’s known in GFriend, Sowon, is the sole rapper of the six piece K-Pop girl group. Since the group’s debut in 2015, they have earned several new artist awards, including Best New Artist at the Seoul Music Awards.
In 2011, prior to her debut with GFriend, she appeared in the music video for Rainbow’s single “To Me.”
In 2016, she and bandmate Yuju appeared in the SBS variety show Inkigayo. In July of 2020 the band released their third studio album, Walpurgis Night.
