Bella Hadid is one of the most popular and recognizable models on the runway. Her stunning looks and exotic appearance have endeared her to fans around the world. However, there have been questions about whether she has undergone plastic surgery. Who is Bella Hadid?
Born Isabella Khair Bella Hadid on October 9th, 1996, Bella is an American model who first signed with IMG in 2014. By 2016, she was voted “Model of the Year” by Model.com and has won many awards over a short period based on her modeling exploits. As with many models, Bella has dabbled in the film industry, but her most famous hobby is being an equestrian who tried to qualify for the 2016 Olympic team, but didn’t make it because of a bout with Chronic Lyme Disease that she has since fully recovered.
Bella’s stunning looks have garnered considerable attention and her image from teenage model to maturing adult has also sparked plenty of rumors about undergoing plastic surgery.
History of Plastic Surgery
The difficulty in determining just what Bella has undergone in terms of cosmetic surgery stems from her maturing body where changes are expected from the teen years to adulthood. From photos taken before she became a model, Bella was a beautiful teenager who was active in riding horses. Many of the changes that she has undergone since that time are attributable to puberty and growing into an adult. This is true for her slimmer face and cheek structure, which in many young women who are active becomes thinner as a result.
Her hair and makeup have changed considerably which is expected and may have caused some of the rumors to start. However, there are other features that certainly seemed to have changed because of cosmetic surgery.
Nose Job: Photos from Bella’s younger days riding horses around 2009 show a more prominent nose. Today, it is slimmer and has changed shape considerably, especially the bulb around the end which is sharper. It’s clear that she has undergone a nose job which has certainly improved her photogenic appearance, although she also appears less natural than before.
Lips: Another area that has seemingly undergone some work is Bella’s upper lip. Today, it is thicker and matches her lower lip far closer than it did several years ago. She might be using fillers or perhaps had a more extensive lip job, but whatever the case her upper lip certainly appears as if some work has been done.
Bella’s plastic surgery has not been extensive and her radiant, exotic appearance is still intact. It is clear however from the before and after photos that she has had a nose job and some lip work done which has enhanced her features, but perhaps at the cost of the natural look she had before becoming a model.
