Norma Rae, Sybil, and Forest Gump’s Mother Changes Her Look
I love Sally Field. I really, really do. To me, she is one of the finest and most talented actresses, and she could manage to persuade an audience to laugh, cry, or stand in a resounding ovation depending on her objective. She seems like a really nice person with a kind and generous nature. I would probably be the president of Sally Field’s fan club, if I did that sort of thing.
One of the facets of my impression of Sally Field, however, has always been my understanding of her as a poised, self-possessed, and self-confident woman. I was surprised to learn, therefore, that even she – even the one and only Sally Field – turned to plastic surgery to counteract her body’s natural response to the aging process.
Still respectable, and still looks awesome
Sally Field is one of the few honest actresses that has admitted openly to having had plastic surgery. I am not sure whether that fact plays a role in my assessment of the successfulness of the surgery, but whether it does nor not, I think that she really does look beautiful in her after pictures. Even though I am probably opposed in principle to cosmetic surgery, Sally Field’s transition could convert me into a believer.
She has always been a mouse of a woman (and I mean that in the most adorable way), with a big personality and seemingly endless talent. And, as an actress in her late 60’s, the aging process probably meant more heartache and trouble to her than it would to someone that spends less time in the public eye. So, when one compares her “before” plastic surgery photographs to her “after” photographs, one can easily see that her eyes were sunken, her face was sagging, and gravity had taken a firm hold on her cheeks and other facial features.
The “after” pictures are incredible, and they leave one feeling quite positive about the entire procedure. As I said, I would seriously consider having plastic surgery after seeing the results she acquired as a result. Sally Field literally looks twenty years younger, and she reclaimed her trademark authentic and genuine smile.
Her plastic surgeon should be commended on the wonderful plastic surgery that Sally Field received. Other than her beautiful smile, the lack of under-eye aged puffiness, and overall tauter skin condition, the one place that really dramatically improves her appearance is her neck. It may be uncommon knowledge, but the neck tends to give everything away about one’s age. We tend to look like we are evolving into turkeys when we age, what with the excess skin which is, typically, woefully, and (I thought) irreparably wrinkled. Sally Field’s plastic surgery, in my opinion, was an overwhelming success. And kudos to her for being honest about it. We do like you, Sally Field. We really, really do.
