Short Bio

Lorenzo Lamas wearing black leather while astride a motorcycle is an indelible image many still have when they think about the handsome actor. Long flowing hair, chiseled good looks and a body anyone would love to cuddle up to. Unfortunately that was the Lorenzo Lamas of the past. Today, he has fallen victim to two of nature’s harshest cruelties: vanity and aging.

Vanity Hollywood is a bastion of good looks either natural (rarely) or bought (frequently). Lorenzo Lamas, however was blessed with good looks from his strikingly attractive parents who were actors in their own right; in fact he is the perfect combination of his father Fernando Lamas and mother Arlene Dahl which helped propel him to stardom at a young age.

Endowed with talent, good looks and opportunity, Lorenzo traded on his outward appearance and it brought him great success. However, looking at before and after pictures, it is easy to see that he let his vanity overcome his common sense and did not adhere to the rule of less is more. His face while still attractive has the telltale signs of Botox and a facelift. His physique, while still enviable shows possible signs of liposuction. All of these procedures on their own are not bad but as he grows older it is difficult not to wonder how many more surgeries he will undergo.

Aging in Hollywood is not like elsewhere in the world. When you are an actor your entire life is lived in front of the camera, so people notice the natural course of aging. Lorenzo Lamas is falling into the trap of chasing his youth which he will eventually learn is an ever losing battle.

Lorenzo Lamas is still an attractive man and but there have been too many examples of stars having plastic surgery to the point that it negatively impacts their looks. If Lorenzo stops now he will still retain remnants of his old self and hopefully will not go down the path forged by many other plastic surgery victims who did not know when to stop.
